Red Kite Yurts

Red Kite Yurts is a small, family-run business based in Scotland. It handcrafts traditional Central Asian nomadic trellised felted tents using 2,000-year-old techniques. Its yurts are available to hire for camping, weddings and events, with decorated yurts and bell tents also offered for festivals. The business makes sauna yurts, with saunas listed for both hire and purchase. Yurts can be customised to suit buyers’ specifications, from size to features, and ex-hire yurts are also available to buy. Red Kite Yurts provides a revised guide to the Central Asian trellised tent, covering its history, assembly and aftercare.
