03 — Match the heater to your room
Match the heater to your room
Start with the listed room-volume range, rather than power alone. The Harvia Vega Compact covers 5–9m³. Both Harvia The Wall models, the Pillar IKI and the PYRY by Tulikivi cover 3–6m³. Although these heaters share a 4.5kW rating, their listed room ranges differ.
The Narvi NM costs from £449.99, but its room-volume fields are recorded as zero. These do not provide a usable sizing range, so confirm the room specification before choosing it. Keep the HUUM DROP heating element separate from your complete-heater comparison.
04 — Compare controls and electrical requirements
Compare controls and electrical requirements
The Vega Compact has manual controls. The Wall SW45 has built-in illuminated switches, while the SW45E requires a separate control unit, sold separately. Their listed starting prices are £669.63 and £455 respectively.
The Pillar IKI lists an optional control unit or IKI UKU Wi-Fi Controller and is three-phase. The other entries are single-phase. The PYRY lists a Tulikivi sauna control panel. All entries exceed the 3.6kW dedicated-circuit threshold, so include that requirement in your planning.
