Commissions, paid listings and supplier fees never change the order of a list or what we recommend. Featured venues are labelled "Featured" wherever they appear.
Where our facts come from
Venue details come from the venue, from public sources checked by an editor, or from the owner once they have claimed the listing. Unclaimed listings are marked unverified. Prices are checked across several UK retailers and shown with the date they were checked.
How pages are written
Some page text is drafted with software from our own structured records, then read, edited and approved by an editor before it is published. Drafts may only use facts that are in the record; anything else is removed.
Reviewers
Health guides are reviewed by a named clinician and installation guides by a registered electrician or HETAS installer before they publish. The reviewer's name and credentials appear on the page.
Health information
We describe what the evidence says and say when it is mixed. We don't give medical advice. If you have a health condition or are pregnant, talk to your GP before using a sauna.
Corrections
If something is wrong, use "Report a problem" on the page or contact us. We correct errors promptly and update the page date.
