03 — Compare room volume, not just power
Compare room volume, not just power
Start with your sauna’s room volume and compare it with each model’s listed range. The 10kW Tylo Air Traditional Soft Sauna Heater Stainless Steel covers 10–18m³. The 12kW HUUM HIVE covers 12–25m³, while both Harvia Hidden HH12 listings cover 12–17m³.
A higher power rating does not necessarily mean a larger listed room range across different heater types. The 16kW Harvia Legend 150 SL has a range of 6–13m³. The 24.1kW Harvia Pro 20 SL covers 8–20m³. At the top of this selection, the 36kW Harvia Qube Pro lists 40–75m³.
04 — Check supply, controls and listed prices
Check supply, controls and listed prices
If you are comparing electric heaters, check the listed supply phase. The Tylo Air and Tylo Sense Elite 10 are single-phase models. The Narvi Peak, HUUM HIVE, both Harvia Hidden listings and Harvia Qube Pro are three-phase models.
Control arrangements also differ. The Tylo Sense Elite 10 lists an Elite Cloud Control Panel with WiFi connectivity. The HUUM HIVE requires a separate control unit, and both Harvia Hidden listings specify separate controls.
The lowest listed starting price is £145 for the HUUM HIVE. Compare that price alongside its separate-control requirement rather than treating price alone as the deciding factor.
